At the 39th Artios Awards, celebrated achievements in casting across films, television, and theater were honored in a grand affair that spanned three ceremonies across two continents. Esteemed winners in the film category included notable titles such as “Killers of the Flower Moon,” “The Holdovers,” “Past Lives,” and “Barbie,” showcasing the diverse and exceptional talent recognized by the Casting Society. The complete list of winners reflects the industry’s best in casting excellence.
In addition to these celebrated films, other standout movies that garnered accolades were “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse,” recognized both as an Annie Awards juggernaut and an Animated Feature Oscar favorite, along with “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret,” “Memory,” and “Summoning Silvia.”
The television sector also shone brightly, with “Succession,” “The Bear,” “Beef,” “The Last of Us,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and “Queer Eye” all taking home awards. These shows were accompanied by other significant winners like “Reservations Dogs,” “Big Mouth,” and “American Born Chinese,” which, alongside “Succession,” concluded their series last year, marking the end of an era for these acclaimed productions.
The 2024 Artios Awards ceremonies were hosted by a trio of notable personalities: Niecy Nash-Betts in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton, Alex Edelman at the Edison Ballroom in Manhattan, and Samantha Morton at White City House in London, making for a truly global celebration of casting excellence.
JamarGig extends heartfelt congratulations to all the nominees and winners of the Artios Awards, acknowledging their incredible contributions to the art of casting and the success of their respective projects.
